Salary: Up to £30,000 Well established Independent Financial Advisers - Full Study Support: Great opportunity for someone looking for a career as a Paraplanner.

About the Company:

A Well-established IFA firm based in Leamington SPA. They are currently a team of 14 people and pride themselves on being an effective and friendly team. My client is looking for an experience financial services professional to come on board and join their Paraplanner team. You will be trained up from Junior Paraplanner level to a fully fledged Paraplanner over time with the company.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• At least 2 years` experience in financial services
• Be studying for the Level 4 Diploma or have the diploma
• Experience using Intelligent Office desired but not a must
• Some suitability report writing experience (even if this is simple reports)

The role will involve a full scope of Paraplanning tasks including, but not limited to:

• Prepare suitability reports (Investment and Pension) and fund switch letters in line with company procedures and tasks
• Conduct research as required to support recommendations
• Liaise with technical and compliance departments
• Assist in follow up action requested in relation to a compliance file check
• Deal effectively with clients and colleagues, understanding the need to manage clients and colleagues` expectations
• Understand the need for confidentiality of information and will deal with personnel issues appropriately and sensitively

You will support with the above tasks on a day to day basis, working closely with advisers in order to help them deliver the advice and best experience possible to the client.

The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal, listening and numerical skills as well as clear written communication skills which will be vital in the preparation of suitability reports.

Salary for the role is up to £30,000 dependant on experience.
