Commercial Account Executive/Handler

Brighton and Hove

Salary: £20,000 to £29,000 (Depending on Experience)

Our client is an award winning broker based in Brighton and Hove who have been trading for over 25 years they are now looking for an experienced executive/handler to join the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

The role of Commercial Account Handler is to manage a portfolio of existing clients, dealing with insurance issues relating to changes in their requirements and renewals and to cross sell additional products and services

Prospective candidates should have a strong commercial focus, keep themselves up to date with technical, legal and market developments, understand the importance of adhering to company procedures and performance standards.

Requirements;

• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• At least 5 years of commercial insurance experience
• Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner
• A desire to develop their knowledge of all classes of Commercial Insurance
• A keen interest in long term career progression
• A strong background of commercial Insurance
• Good understanding of commercial insurance market.
• Sales experience and great negotiating skills
• Dealing with clients, brokers and insurers
• Excellent organisation skills
