Working in partnership with a large, award winning, construction company in Birmingham City Centre I am currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join a very successful and experienced team of HR Consultants in their busy Birmingham office. The role will initially be on a temporary basis but will go permanent for the right candidate.

Your role as HR Administrator will be to deliver a quality HR support service to a busy team of 2 HR Consultants, the HR Advisor and the HR Partner, along with the 700 company employees. This is a busy, interesting and responsible role enabling the HR team to deliver an excellent service to the business.

As the HR Administrator you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the current HR team with all general admin duties and support on a day to day basis
• Managing the process for new starters/leavers, from issuing the offer details to ensuring the database is updated and accurate
• Issuing group induction information to all attendees and ensure this is sent in a timely manner with all details correct
• Updating the bespoke HR system with employee details ranging from induction reviews to sickness etc
• Helping organise and be an active member of National Graduate Days along with the rest of the HR team

The successful candidate should have:

• Previous experience of working in a HR team within in a professional company
• Minimum of 12 months strong Admin experience
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail : strong admin skills are vital
• Confident Excel user, along with the ability to quickly learn a new bespoke system
• Be able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Be a great team player with strong professional communication skills

Working hours are 9am : 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with the option of finishing earlier on a Friday. You will receive a salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on your experience, along with 25days annual leave, plus an additional 3 days for Xmas shutdown, private healthcare, SIPP, life insurance and the opportunity and support from the company to study for CIPD qualifications
