Our Clients are an established Independent Group based in Surrey looking to recruit a Head of Financial Planning.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious individual to maintain and develop advice services within a sophisticated financial planning business. This role has a high profile within the Group. Our Clients are looking to appoint an individual that commands respect, has significant industry experience and holds the appropriate qualifications. This individual will be responsible for guiding the firm`s advice processes.

Skills and Experience:
Advanced level of technical financial knowledge and expertise
A deep understanding of Defined Benefit and Safeguarded Benefits Advice
A strong understanding of Financial Services Regulation and FCA
An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
Able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business
Able to manage different projects at the same time
Organised; able to work well under pressure
Have good presentation skills and attention to detail
Able to recognise risk and potential compliance failures

Essential

Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent Level 4 qualification
Pension Transfer Qualification (AF3 / AF7 / G60)
