We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Paraplanner team member for a successful National Wealth Management company in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Whether you are part of fully qualified, you will work closely alongside a dedicated team of Financial Planning Consultants, joining a team of experienced Paraplanners, assisting both Directors and Advisers of the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare recommendations
• Identify and discuss areas for planning with the adviser.
• Undertake relevant research to identify suitable solutions to meet a client`s specific objectives. Liaise with our advice guidance department on any technical aspects of the case that require additional support and guidance.
• Prepare relevant documentation and comparisons for review.
• Prepare draft suitability letters to be discussed and signed.
• Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the information on which client recommendations are made.
• Implement recommendations
• Complete applications or proposal forms (in conjunction with the Administrative team).
• Keep abreast of changing legislation both internally and externally ensuring that all updates are read and fully understood.
• To provide drafts of investment updates and other client communications to the Financial Planners for consideration, this includes reports, letters and other methods of communication.
• Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of the firm`s compliance procedures including record keeping requirements.
• Comply with internal rules and processes and notify a senior person immediately if there is any breach, or risk of there being a breach.
• Provide support to Practice Manager on allocation of workflow where required.

We are ideally seeking a qualified candidate with a Diploma in Financial Planning Level 4, but will consider those part qualified with relevant Paraplanning experience.

You will ideally have around 3+ years` experience within Paraplanning and will be able to hit the ground running.
