Working in partnership with one of the UK`s leading food suppliers I have a very exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join a very busy and successful team, led by a highly experienced HR Manager in Hull. This would be an ideal role for an experienced HR Advisor wanting to move into a management role and develop their career further.

The key elements of this role are to coach and support Line Managers on employment related matters and implement best practice to add value to the delivery of the people strategy. You will join an existing team of 5 providing support to your team and over 2000 employees across 3 company sites.

As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for:

• Providing generalist support to Line Managers on Human Resource matters such as discipline, grievance, absence management and contractual changes
• Support the HR Manager in delivering site wide projects in line with business objectives
• Provide support during internal and external ethical audits
• Ensure that all documentation is saved on the HR systems accurately and in line with GDPR
• Compile and report on weekly and monthly KPIs including absence, turnover, retention and headcount
• Lead HR initiatives, such as Wellbeing Week, Staff surveys and fundraising events
• Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, internal company policies and procedures and codes of practice

The successful candidate should have:

• At least 4 years previous experience of working in a busy HR function, ideally within the FMCG/Manufacturing sector
• Minimum of CIPD Level 5, along with proven experience of being able to provide generalist advise and support to Line Managers
• The ability to manage their own time whilst being tenacious and relentless in seeing things through to completion
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail : strong organisation skills
• Confident Excel user, along with the ability to quickly learn new systems
• Be a great team player with strong professional communication skills

Working hours are 8am : 5pm, Monday to Friday. You will receive a salary of up to £35,000 per annum depending on your experience, along with 28 days annual leave, free parking on site, pension auto enrolment, 2 x annual salary DIS Benefit, plus regular discounted staff offers on the products and a company Sharesave programme.
