Financial Services / IFA Administrator Vacancy : Sheffield- £20,000 - £23,000 plus benefits including generous pension and free on-site parking.

I am working with a reputable Independent Financial Planning firm in Sheffield and we are recruiting for a Financial Planning / IFA Administrator (x2).

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic IFA Administrator to join a reputable firm which supports development, progression and growth.

You will be situated within a team of experienced Financial Advisers and will help provide full financial planning administration support.

Duties will include but will not be limited to;

• Handling incoming telephone calls.
• Dealing effectively both face to face and remotely (phone, email etc.) with all clients and persons/organisations
• Maintaining database and journal system, the key to all our administration and financial controls. These systems contain all client personal data, client contract records, the company`s accounting mechanisms and payment systems.
• Develop a complete working familiarity with the external platforms so that you can prepare fast and accurate research, quotations and documentation.
• Making up new client files with all appropriate documentation.
• Ensuring that all client records and files are complete and compliant.
• Keeping all records and filing up to date, both paper and electronic.
• Dealing with all incoming and outgoing post.
• Developing a good working familiarity with our computer systems and printer so that you can perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Adhering to the diary/journal system and progress-chase all cases.
• Preparing letters using the templates provided and other letters as necessary on your own initiative.
• Contribute original thought to the business. We pay people to think and to have and use initiative. We don`t think we know everything. If you think you`ve got a good idea about how we should be doing something better or whatever, don`t be shy : tell us.

The successful Financial Services / IFA Administrator must have either provided similar support within a Financial Services environment, or will have administration experience within a relevant Product Provider environment.
