Sales Coordinator

Working in partnership with a leading manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of material and systems I am currently recruiting for a Sales Coordinator to join their busy and very successful team in Derbyshire. They have been established for over 30 years and supply to various diverse industries which means this is a very busy role with lots of products and processes to learn.

As the Sales Coordinator you will:

• Have previous sales admin experience, with a proven track record.
• Have experience with booking transport - this would be an advantage
• Be the first response for answering phone calls and the door
• Be confident in offering support with stock availability, pricing, order processing
• Be responsible for email account management, sales order processing and delivery note processing
• Deal with customer complaints/damages/credit notes
• Arrange sample order preparation
• Deal with invoicing queries
• Have the desire to work as a team and be confident to put forward your own suggestions
• Undertake general admin duties including; tray distribution, laminating, filing, post office runs and dealing with general enquiries

The successful Sales Coordinator will:

• Be someone with a natural drive and the will to progress
• Be prepared to undertake lots of training to learn the vast product range
• The ability to work independently and be self-driven within a team structure.
• Excel at managing multiple tasks at once and perform in a fast paced environment.
• Have excellent attention to detail when following procedures and an interest in learning from and working with senior members of the team
• Be computer literate with very strong administration skills
• Be confident, articulate, professional and able to communicate with a variety of personalities at all levels

In return you will receive a basic salary of £20,000k - £22,000k per annum, depending on experience, plus 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and extra days for the Xmas period that are on top of your holiday allowance. Working hours are 9am : 5pm Monday to Friday and they also have free onsite parking.
