Working in partnership with a local established company which holds a rich heritage in testing materials and creating bespoke machinery, I have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Marketing Executive to join the Group Marketing Team.

The ideal candidate will hold a BA Honours Marketing Degree and will be based at the Head Office in Telford, where you will join the Marketing Team to build the audience and community, the brands and attention for the Group and several Group Businesses.

As the Junior Marketing Executive your responsibilities will include:

Working with Business Heads and the Group Marketing Team to develop annual marketing plans and update/amend these where necessary in line with KPI’s.
Update the websites content, ensuring technical and brand accuracy.
Support the Group Marketing Team to create website content in order to keep the websites fully updated at all times.
Support the writing of content, developing a positive approach to news for onward communication.
Work with closely with the team to ensure websites are functioning in-line with business strategy.
Work with Group Marketing and the Head of Business to develop PPC campaigns.
Assist to develop case studies and testimonial information for digital marketing purposes
Manage social media accounts in line the Marketing Strategy and the annual Marketing Plan.
EDM and DM capability to work with templates and Mailchimp to develop an annual programme of activity that reflects business strategy
Work with each business to assist in the management and update of marketing databases to allow for generation of KPI’s and support with monthly marketing dashboard reports and analysis.
Assist marketing events, maintain and coordinate a schedule of meetings, trade shows etc.
Assist with the generation of marketing and sales KPI’s
Requirement to monitor incoming leads/live chat that will be recorded on the CRM system.
Support with roll out of customer retention and re-engagement programmes
Support with new product launches via a range of different channels



Desired Knowledge & Skills you will need:

Hold a BA (Hons) in Marketing or equivalent is desirable.
Working in a Marketing industry or agency experience would be advantageous.
Be able to demonstrate Digital Marketing knowledge
The ability to demonstrate experience of working with the following:Website editing / CMS experience – Magento 2
Good working knowledge of Pay Per Click (PPC) in addition to experience of working with PPC and the key metrics of success (Google Adwords and Bing Ads)
Google analytics knowledge
Experience of working with Mailchimp, or similar digital mailing platforms
Able to create and support with SurveyMonkey
Social media (specifically LinkedIn and Facebook for business)
Paid social media activity
SEO
Experience in conversion optimisation


Good understanding of CRM functions, to include: Segmentation & tagging/Campaign targeting.
Experience working with third parties/suppliers. Supporting with brief creation and project progress chasing.
Have a strong commercial understanding
Able to demonstrate a strong analytical skill
Must be able to understand the competition in the market and provide statistical evidence
The ability to work with and produce animation is desirable
Advantageous to have a working knowledge and experience of how to film and edit videos.
Experience of working with Photoshop and InDesign
To achieve KPI’s in a timely manner as agreed at appraisals with your Line Manager.
Strong presentation and content skills both verbally and written.



Full time standard office hours, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £18,000 - £23,000 dependent on level of experience.
