We’re excited to partnering with a leading organisation based in Carlisle to recruit a Human Resources Manager.

As HR Manager you will take the lead in the overall management of their established yet always evolving HR function. Ensuring the effective operational running whilst delivering strategic people and culture related objectives across the organisation.

You will be actively involved in key aspects of HR Management, these being:

Supporting and advising managers on people related topics and sharing knowledge and best practise.

Developing HR policy and procedures, driving performance and well being.

Designing and implementing company policies that promote a healthy work environment, from managing the Mental Health First Aider group to driving employee engagement initiatives.

Supporting and providing advice on recruitment and selection strategies and overseeing the internal recruitment process, ensuring the best talent and capability at all levels and all times.

Attract and develop future talent through graduate and apprenticeships schemes.

Oversea and manage a performance appraisal system and developing career pathways and development plans throughout each division.

Supporting managers to enhance their people management skills and managing employee relations.

Implementing and driving the HR strategy and aligning with the business goals.

Continually monitor and review HR processes and policies, implement change and drive new initiatives. Optimising data and insight to drive the people agenda and to influence decision-making.

Having a voice at the quarterly Directors board meeting, discussing people issues, priorities, and strategies.

Directly supporting, managing and developing the HR Advisor.
