Internal Sales Team Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proven Internal Sales Manager to join a leading Safety and Workplace Supplier. Where you will help build and establish your own Internal Sales Team, with the flexibility to be based within the Crawley or Heathrow site.

This is an exciting new position where you will show your leadership and sales ability to maintain and grow sales and profitability of a defined portfolio of new and existing customers spending between £0 And £1m+ within designated account portfolio.  

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

·        Pro-actively contact customers within agreed customer portfolio to obtain opportunities to supply goods.

·        Provide quotes for customers to achieve agreed financial targets

·        Project and manage tender process involving all relevant areas of the business

·        Liaise with purchasing to develop joint approaches to major prospect customers

·        Grow the value of existing customers by seeking further opportunities of range and volume

·        Prospect new customers and regain lost business

·        Recruit, induct and train new team members

·        Maintain a high level of performance and conduct in branch in line with HR policies

·        Maintain existing business through effective regular customer contact

·        Maintain price files and advise customers of increases, managing expectations to ensure business is retained

·        Work with Corporate & Local Account Managers and all branch functions to deliver excellent customer service

·        Produce a business plan for existing and new customer portfolio to achieve sales targets

·        Provide regular reports as required by the management team
