My client is currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner on a fixed term contract for 9 months, although the team is expanding so may be further opportunities in the future.
 
You will be working as part of a busy team within the Not for Profit sector, so previous experience within charity or public sector would be beneficial. The role is a mix of strategic and operational.
 
The role will include:
 
- Reviewing the organisational approach to people management, including change and workforce planning and leading on improvements
- Providing insights into people management trends and any issues, suggesting solutions where necessary
- Designing and delivering training to address and support management capabilities
- Turning people strategies into a practical workplan with clear deliverables.
- Identifying and implementing methods of measuring impact and success of people strategy
- Ensuring succession plans are in place
- Providing HR advice on organisational change managements, in line with policies including restructure and redundancy
- Providing support on TUPE processes, ensuring new teams are embedded into the business
- Supporting ER Case Manager on tribunal cases and working closely with solicitors
- Identify growth opportunities and advise on HR implications and risk
- Regular reporting on HR performance indicators
- Reviewing HR policies, procedures and strategies
- Act as point of escalation to the ER team for complex ER matters
- Develop relationships with Trade Unions
