My client is currently recruiting for an ER Advisor for their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who work within the charity sector so ideally looking from someone who has previous experience within not for profit/ charity business.
 
You will be managing cases for your own area of the business which will include approx. 400 employees. The cases that you will be working with will including conduct, disciplinaries and performance.
 
The role will be providing HR advice across HR and Employee Relation issues, and advising managers on how to manage their employees well and undertake any relevant HR projects in line with the business objectives.
 
Duties will include:
 
- Creating a high performance by coaching and advising managers on managing their staff in line with policies and legislation
- Building relationships with managers, heads and director
- Providing advice to managers on employee relation issues including conduct, performance and absence
- Advising and managing a high volume of complex employee relation cases including disciplinary, grievance and performance
- Attending formal people management meetings when necessary
- Preparing invite letters, reports and outcome letters
- Supporting ER Manager on the managing employment tribunals
- Assisting with development and reviewing of organisational policies and procedures
- Reviewing and developing the HR systems and processes
- Ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Trade Unions
- Keeping up to date with employment legislation
- Developing of systems and processes and various projects
