Job Information

We are excited to be working with a manufacturing client based outside of Leeds City Centre who are recruiting for an HR Manager to join their team.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team who are encouraged to progress and take on more responsibility. The role itself is very much a generalist position so looking for someone who has all round HR generalist experience within a busy team.
 
Duties include:
 
- Managing the HR Department on a day to day basis, ensuring high level of service to the business
- Leading a team of 4 on a day to day basis
- Encouraging and driving a culture where employees are motivated to develop and maximise performance
- Managing all aspects of employee relations and leading on any complex ER cases, including disciplinaries and grievances
- Managing the policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date and implementing any necessary changes
- Leading on any HR related projects
- Supporting and leading the HR team to continually improve and progress
- Managing any TUPE’s/ restructures/ redundancies
- Leading on recruitment process
- Coach and support managers including the senior leadership teams in developing employees and managing performance reviews

Key skills:
 
- Ability to create a good balance between employee needs and business requirements
- Strong people management skills with proven experience, and the ability to lead, coach and motivate employees
- Excellent UK employment legislation and ER background
- CIPD qualified to level 5 (minimum)

- 37.5 hour working week but would consider candidates looking for 30 hours or more
