We are delighted to be working with a fantastic client within education who are recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join their small fast paced team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the Education/Care/Health sector and be able to hit the ground running.
 
This role is based on site in beautiful grounds, within and friendly and supportive environment. You will be working with senior stakeholders to advice, coach and support on a range of HR issues. Supporting the HR Director, with restructures and various projects you will be providing a professional, pro active HR role.
 
Duties include:
 
- Acting as point of contact and advising on complex employment cases and projects, providing HR related advice
- Responsible for HR casework, including absence management, disciplinary and grievances as well as performance management and other employee relation issues in line with policies
- Assisting with delivering of key HR initiatives, including restructuring, resourcing, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management
- Conducting inductions for new starters
- Monitoring and tracking probationary periods for new employees, supporting Line Managers
- Assisting with the planning of orientation and refresher training
- Conducting exit interviews and report on findings
- Supporting the appraisal system and data for staff in line with programme
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of current employment law and best practice

Key skills:
 
- CIPD Qualified/ studying
- Previous relevant sector experience
