Job Information

We are working with an established finance business who are looking for an experienced Head of HR to join the business.
 
Reporting into the COO and working as part of a team of 2, within this SME of under 100 employees, the role will work both strategically and operationally, leading on key projects and working as part of the senior team to update the people strategy. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
- Report into the COO, and overseeing 1 person, responsible for the people side of the business
- Providing proactive and business focussed advice to Senior Partners and employees on day-to-day HR issues
- Lead and develop all areas of the people function, including develop and implement HR initiatives in line with organisational objectives.
- Supporting across all operational HR activities, developing and reinforcing the company’s culture, development and recruitment.
- Overseeing and management of all generalist HR areas including, talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, ER, employee wellbeing, compensation & benefits, workforce planning, diversity & inclusion, organisation development & design
- Providing key HR analytics and monthly reports for the board that support on key people matters and decisions.
- Supporting and leading on change management and organisation development & design
- Develop, implement, and review HR best practice policies and procedures which support business objectives and reflect current legislation
- Advise and manage the performance review process, coaching line managers and championing best practice. Play a key role in the success of continuous performance management  across the firm
- Provide support, advice, and development to junior members of the HR team
- Recruitment, including recommending recruitment methods, liaison with agencies, testing, interviewing and negotiating packages
- Manage agency relationships and develop firm's approach to recruitment
- Advising Department Heads and line managers on employee relations issues, e.g. performance issues, flexible working applications, disciplinaries and grievance
- Focus on employee engagement to retain staff at all levels
- Oversee implementation of benefits and updating policies and procedures
- Management and administration of the Firms benefits
- Ensuring provides a competitive reward and benefits package
- Research and launch new benefits and promote existing benefits to ensure maximum uptake and benefit gained

For this role candidates will need to have proven experience working at this level and have experience working for an investment business or similar industry such as financial or professional services.
 
This is a fast-paced role, where you will be expected to provide a professional and high-level HR service to stakeholders and build relationships; so candidates must be proactive, hold strong communication and interpersonal skills and work to a high level of accuracy.
