We are currently working with a well established Professional Services client who are recruiting for an HR Assistant to join their busy team. The role requires supporting the HR department on a daily basis to provide exceptional support to the business as a whole. The successful candidate will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and able to work on their own initiative, ensuring the high level of service is maintained.
 
Duties include:
 
- Administration and coordination of new hires as part of the onboarding process, including offer letters, employment and training contracts, and preparing information to all new hires.
- Overseeing third party provider for reference checks and acting as first point of contact and chasing new joiners when necessary
- Ensuring all onboarding documentation is received and filed appropriately
- Assisting with new joiner induction planning and scheduling
- Adding new joiners to the system, and compiling profiles and proofreading
- Collating probationary period feedback and liaising with Senior HR Advisor
- Facilitating and coordinating leaver process and arranging exit interviews
- Drafting new starter pension letters and adding new joiners to the pension scheme
- Updating the HR system with any new information or changes to employees details
- Managing benefit documentation and answering any benefit related queries
- Maintaining BUPA portal/pension as well as ensuring long service is flagged
- Responding to any reference requests
- Tracking absences and preparing management reports
- Assisting with appraisals

- Organised
- Previous experience within an HR administration position
- Able to work on own initiative
- High accuracy written and verbal communication skills
