My client is currently recruiting for an HR Advisor/HR Generalist position, it is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Professional who has a strong background within employee relations.
 
The role itself will include:
 
- Providing expert professional advice on HR issues, and supporting managers on disciplinaries, grievances, and complex employee relation cases (candidates must have previous experience seeing cases from start to finish)
- Supporting managers on absence management and sickness
- Advising managers on reorganising their services, including redundancy, redeployment and early retirement cases in line with employment legislation
- Various projects and policy development
- Keeping up to date with employment legislation and case law, and training managers on procedures
- Acting as counter signatory for Disclosure and Barring Service checks, ensuring codes of practice as adhered to and procedures are followed
- Maintaining and providing management information as required
- Starter and leaver administration as well as contractual changes and preparation of payroll documentation
- Inductions for employees and managers
- Updating HR records
- Developing and improving systems and procedures

The role will need someone who as and when can visit their other sites
 
Key skills:
 
- CIPD Qualified or studying towards
- Previous experience within the full employee relations cases
- Generalist HR experience

On offer:
 
- Salary of up to £45k
- £5k car allowance (you must be a car owner and full drivers license)
- Hybrid working
- Office hours are 9 - 5.30pm
