We are currently working with a fantastic business going through a steady growth, who are recruiting for a standalone HR Manager to join the business as soon as possible.
 
The role is part of a small yet growing business and although there are policies and procedures in place these are ready to be updated. You will be solely responsible for the UK HR function so previous experience within a similar role is essential.
 
Duties include:
 
- Recruitment from assisting with job specs to liaising with recruitment agencies, sending out contracts and onboarding of new employees
- Supporting managers and employees with HR issues including absence and change management, disciplinaries and performance management
- Staff management and performance improvement plans
- Ensuring policies and procedures are up to date and in line with legislation
- Updating the HR system and employee information
- Developing and engaging employees at all levels
- Managing paternity, maternity and sick pay
- Assisting with appraisals and improving processes
- Assisting with payroll and calculations to pass onto accounts

As this is a standalone HR position you will be responsible for everything within HR so must be happy dealing with HR Administration, this is mainly an operational role although there will be times when you will be assisting with strategic decisions.
