We are working with a well established charitable organisation and they are looking to recruit a Head of Finance.


The closing date for this role is Friday 8th May at 0900. Interviews are being held on Thursday 14th May, so it essential that candidates can make this day if selected.


Reporting into the Director of Finance, the role will involve overseeing a small accounting team and be responsible for the production of management accounts, month-end accounts and involvement with special projects.


Key duties and responsibilities will include;
•Production of the management accounts pack for the divisions within the business
•Preparing and monitoring annual budgets
•Involvement with business strategy, and supporting unit heads with strategic plans
•Review and analysis of accounts - P&L and balance sheet, analysis of company performance ect
•Preparation of the statutory accounts
•Project work - review and implementation of new accounting and internal systems, implementation of new procurement function and streamlining financial reporting systems
•Management of a small team - appraisals, performance management and training requirements


For this role candidates must be fully qualified CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA/ CCAB and have proven experience working at this level.


Experience of working for a Charity or Not for Profit organisation would be beneficial and preferred. Although candidates with proven experience within other industries will also be considered.
