My SME client is currently recruiting for an HR Generalist/ Assistant HR Manager to work within a busy HR team. The role is working within professional services and the ideal candidate will have a strong background within HR. You will also be able to step up when the HR Manager is out of the business and be the first point of contact for any issues that may arise.The role will include:
- Recruitment and Retention - end to end recruitment for graduates up to experienced hires
- Ownership of the ATS
- Managing the onboarding process and off boarding, including inductions and exit interviews
- Recommending and implementing ideas for employee retention
- Coordinating and overseeing probationary process and providing guidance to managers
- Managing annual appraisals, reviewing forms and following up with team
- Introduce feeedack process and improvements where necessary
- Analysing and preparing annual report for appraisals including recommendations
- Supporting managers with employee performance issues and escalating where necessary
- Providing HR policy and procedure guidance
- Supporting managers with disciplinary, grievance and capability issues escalating when appropriate
- Managing staff sickness (long and short term)
- Managing wellbeing and promoting within the business
- Coordinating annual salary reviews
- Coordinating company wide benefits and reviewing
- Managing contractual changes and leaving process
- Managing annual chargeable time targets
- Supporting HR Manager with various projects with new initiatives
Essential skills:
- CIPD Qualified
- Minimum of 5 years experience within HR & Recruitment
- Ideally experience within a feepaying or partnership environment
- Able to work under pressure
