We are excited to be working with a fantastic company, based in Northampton who are recruiting for a new position of Human Resources Manager due to increase in workload. Candidates must have previous experience of setting up an HR function within a business and confident working in a standalone position.
 
Duties will include:
 
- Devise and implement strategies to improve the recruitment, developing and retention of employees across the business
- Reviewing and updating existing HR policies, practices and procedures and recommend any necessary changes
- Advising managers on best HR practices
- Coaching and developing people management capabilities within the business and adhering to best practice
- Completing review of benefits and employee contracts
- Identifying and managing people issues
- Advising the business on developing people priorities and delivering creative solutions
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with employees, providing advice
- Engage with broader HR agenda
- Supporting with employee relations and performance cases to ensure with policies and legislation
- Managing recruitment and exits within the business that supports colleagues
- Mediating to resolve conflicts in a positive manner
- Producing weekly and monthly reports and attending meeting to contribute with ideas
- Updating the company manual

Key skills:
 
- Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified
- HR Experience within customer service/warehouse or logistics sector
- Offering competitive salary of £50k
