We are working with a successful manufacturing and distribution group, and they are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the business.
 
This is an exciting opportunity which will be responsible for independently supporting one of the growing companies within the group, with exposure to working on wider group marketing and communication activities.
 
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the role will be responsible for delivering SMART on and off-line marketing campaigns, increase and promote the e-commerce platform usage and spend, promote and manage all media channels (including social media) and engage with customers and employees with meaningful communications. Key duties and areas of responsibility will include;
 
-Report into the Head of Marketing and work as part of a team of 3 within the group marketing team
-Be the main point of contact for all marketing and communication activities for one company in the group (12m TO).
-Create print and digital assets, such as technical guides, data sheets, articles/blogs, product catalogues and video content
-Publish articles, products and other content on websites
-Drive customers to the ecommerce platform, improve the user experience, and increase online conversion rates
-Plan and then implement PPC and SEO campaigns
-Assist in merchandising and managing product for the website
-Collate product and merchandise reports
-Ensure categories and products are set up to maximise onsite conversion
-Reporting on Google analytics, in house analytics and customer behaviour
-Scheduling and managing website banners
-Work with the Head of Marketing and Commercial Team to develop and implement commercial marketing plan
-Create content and assist in the publishing of internal communications
-Support new product launches from start to finish
-Assist in the planning and delivery of industry and promotional events
-Manage the logistics necessary to support webinars, exhibitions, training courses, etc
-Competitor and market analysis
-Ensure clear KPIs are established and adhered to for marketing programs and effectively track and report on the initiatives

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven marketing experience at this level, or alternatively be looking for the next step in their career. Candidates will need to have strong B2B Digital and Traditional marketing experience and ideally (although not essential) hold manufacturing (or similar), tangible product industry experience.
 
Strong Digital / E-commerce experience is essential, ideally with WordPress, SEO and PPC experience.
 
Candidates must hold excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, be proficient in accurate creative writing and be confident generating professional multimedia content i.e. Adobe Suite and other software technologies.
