We are working with a well-established and leading Law firm, and they are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the business ASAP.
The role would be ideal for an experienced HR Advisor looking for a new opportunity with a well-established business, working as part of a long-standing team.
 
This is a hybrid working role - 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.
 
This role is a busy position and responsible for providing HR support on a range of generalist areas and they need candidates who are confident, hold proven ER and Advisory experience and who can build relationships with internal stakeholders. Candidates will need to be confident dealing with senior managers in the business and provide comprehensive advice.
 
Reporting into the HR Manager and providing support to c270 employees, the focus of the role is to support the business across HR advisory and performance management areas, coaching and upskilling managers, and managing HR processes across the whole of the employment life cycle. Key duties will include;
 
-Reporting into the HR Manager and working as part of a team of 3, providing HR support to a specific client group of 270 employees. Working as part of a larger HR team.
-Provide in-house HR advice and support, ensuring that all company policies and processes are consistently applied and that all HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably.
-Managing ER cases (all day to day, grievances and disciplinaries) and supporting managers with coaching, advice, and guidance on all ER cases within this client group.
-Conduct investigations for disciplinary and grievance processes and assist with the drafting of all correspondence relating to formal processes
-Conduct exit interviews, synthesizing and recording key messages
-Work collaboratively to support with the timely launch and successful delivery of the performance evaluation process, including being the main point of contact for evaluation queries and system training
-Work closely with the mobility team, assisting with joiner visa applications, including drafting of job descriptions and associated documents
-Monitor and review attrition data on a quarterly basis, reporting back to the leadership team on trends and insights
-Build and develop relationships, identifying process improvements and efficiencies where necessary
-Lead on the relationship with payroll, ensuring all relevant forms are processes each month
-Assist with drafting business cases for hiring requests, maintain the Recruitment System (Taleo), work with the Recruitment team on candidate offers and assist with the onboarding process
-Organise and present the London induction, review materials regularly and ensure they are up to date, meet and greet new joiners, conducting the necessary work permit checks
-Conduct first stage probation reviews, escalating issues to the EMEA HR Managers and relevant Partners/Business Services Leaders, analyse new joiner feedback, proposing process efficiencies where necessary

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience at this level and will need to have law firm experience.
 
Candidates will need to hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident working in a busy and autonomous HR role. Excellent scope to develop and take on more responsibility.
