We are working with an established educational charity based in London and they are recruiting for a HR Assistant to join the business.

Working as part of a HR team of 9 providing HR support to 1700 employees, this role will be a varied and fast paced position. The role will include day to day HR administration, Learning & Development activities and providing direct support to the HR Director. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

Learning and Development Administrative Support

*Co-ordinate, organise and administer the department`s internal training programme, including advertising courses, contacting delegates, making accommodation bookings, arranging appropriate materials, monitoring attendance figures and evaluation feedback.
*Administer the e-learning programme: register and provide link and login details.
*Set-up webinars: assisting the trainer and providing registration details to all participants.
*Responsible for managing course evaluation and feedback
*Develop and roll-out online induction training and other courses under the guidance of the HR Business Partner.
*Support the production of the Human Resources Policies & Procedures Manual, up-dating policies as necessary.

Human Resources Administration

*Responsible for organising the monthly HR team meetings, booking dates, room and agenda.
*Produce maternity and probation letters, when required.
*Deal with day to day HR queries and then passing to relevant managers
*Maintain and develop appropriate administration systems within the Human Resources Department, both computerised and manual.

Assistance to the Director of Human Resources
*Provide effective administration support to the Director of Human Resources, including diary management, scheduling meetings and appointments, including travel arrangements, as required.
*Copy typing of HR letters, memos and reports as directed by the Director of Human Resources.


For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience at a HR administration or L&D level and ideally have started studying towards CIPD (Level 3).

Candidates will need to be confident working in a busy role, able to use initiative and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established HR team and to gain some rounded generalist HR experience. There is scope to develop and take on more responsibility within the team.
