Job Information
We are currently working with an Electronics Manufacturer in Leeds looking to recruit a HR Officer to join the team immediately!
You’ll be working with a young and vibrant environment geared towards performance with an open culture that values the contribution of every individual. This position is a generalist standalone position dealing with circa 110 employees and reporting to the MD of the business.
As a HR Officer you’ll have the following duties;
- To contribute to the development of the Company, it’s structure and organisation where appropriate.
- To lead and be responsible for the development and implementation of HR Strategy.
- Assist the Site Director(s) and Operations Manager in the Administration of the Company assuming responsibility for Human Resources including the Training and Development of Staff.
- To lead, support and advise on HR Policies, practices and processes and ensure they are linked to the Business Strategy.
- Research, develop, obtain approval and implement the Company’s policies relating to all phases of human resources activity.
- Report on HR issues formally and informally. Advise and recommend appropriate action where required to meet legal and company standards
- Deal with all general duties such as ER, Engagement, Employee Lifecycle and
The ideal candidate:
- Experienced in a standalone generalist position.
- CIPD Level 3 or above (or working towards)
- Must enjoy working within a young and vibrant environment.
- Confident with decisions and can back decisions to senior staff.
- Strong ER knowledge.
