Job Information
Our client a family run business is looking for a Procurement Officer for its operation in the West Sussex area
Key Duties:
• Buying of consumable items and parts to support maintenance, repair and overhaul activities
• Responding to purchase requests
• Responsible for purchase order from placement to receipt
• Negotiating best value in all transactions
• Building and maintaining relationships internally and externally
• Working cohesively with different functions on special purchase requirements
• Updating and maintaining online catalogues
• Updating and maintaining Excel Spreadsheets
• Booking of transport collections and deliveries to and from EU
• Updating and maintaining online shipment tracking system

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good administrative and organisational skills
• Team player with the ability to use own initiative
• Good working knowledge of MS Office suite
