REGIONAL HR MANAGER 

Full-time, permanent, based in Bradford (BD10) hybrid working available 
Salary:  £41,000 - £46,750
Reporting to:  Chief People Officer 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the HR function for a number of educational academies across West Yorkshire providing both operational and strategic support.

Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR advice and support and working in partnership with senior leaders to drive the improvement of the Trust. 
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide professional operational and strategic HR advice
- Work in partnership with senior leaders to support and drive academy improvement
- Provide guidance and advice on HR policies and procedures in terms of application and interpretation
- Manage and advice of employee relations issues within a unionised environment
- Provide support and development for HR team members
- Ensure effective recruitment/selection, retention and colleague engagement strategies are implemented
- Develop and deliver HR training
- Lead and advise on restructures and other organisational changes, including TUPE in/out

Key Person Requirements

The successful applicant is likely to have experience of the following:
- Relevant HR generalist experience within the public sector (ideally education/schools)
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent or working towards
- Considerable depth and breadth of experience working at a relevant level
- Understanding of relevant employment legislation
- Extensive employee relations experience and dealing with complex cases
- TUPE/ restructuring experience
- Absence Management
- Recruitment and retention
- Training and development
- Line Management experience
