We are working with a leading international business and they are looking for an experienced Group Accountant to join the team who can speak fluent Spanish.


Reporting into the FC the role will involve working as part of the head-office accounting team and will be responsible for the accounting of the oversees companies - Latin America and Spain. As they will be lots of liason with these divisions it is essential that candidates can speak and read fluent Spanish.


In addition to strong technical accounting skills, the role will involve providing analysis of financial information and involvement in all aspects of the overseas entity such as operations, commercials and finance in very much a 'business partnering’ role. Key duties will include;


•Financial accounting and reporting from overseas subsidiaries, including monthly financial statements, statutory accounts and management reporting in accordance with UK GAAP / IFRS
•Review and challenge of management accounts, analysis and commentary
•KPI reporting and analysis, providing insightful analysis to assist with decision making - detailed balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and analysis.
•Monitoring overseas cash flow forecasts and capital expenditure
•Production of management reports - annual projections and objectives, capital expenditure plans, financial reports ect
•Ensuring that all supported legal entities comply with all external (statutes, law, fiscal, local GAAP, IFRS) and internal (corporate policies) requirements.


For this role candidates will need to be fully qualified ACA/ ACCA / CIMA and have worked at a similar level.


Candidates must be willing to travel as you will be expected to meet divisional managers 2-3 times over the year.
