SSAS ADMINISTRATOR
Our clients are a highly successful Wealth Management company based in Leicester city centre giving independent Financial Advice to HNW individuals and businesses. They require an experienced SASS Administrator to join their team.
Responsible for the day to day administration of a portfolio of SSAS schemes under the guidance of a Team Manager, Head of Pension Administration and other Senior Managers. The successful candidate will have between 2 and 5 years` experience and be able to run a portfolio of approximately 90 SSAS schemes.
This will include:

• Investments : processing all investment types in full from cash investments to complex property purchases (including VAT; borrowing) / loanbacks and everything in between
• Establishing New Schemes : File set up (electronic & paper); inputting of scheme onto database; registering scheme with HMRC; establishing bank account; registering with ICO/Pensions Regulator
• ICO Registrations & Renewals
• Pension Regulator Registrations, Renewals & Returns
• Drafting scheme specific Deeds (from Templates)
• Legal Entity Identifier : registrations and renewals
• Attendance at client meetings where necessary
• Benefit Calculations / Payment of PCLS & Death Benefits (may include pre A Day scheme specific tax free cash calculations)
• Transfers In / Out
• Scheme Wind Up
• SSAS Takeovers : dealing with all aspects including deed drafting; asset re-registration; change of scheme administrator; bank account switching; record establishment; ICO / Pension Regulator re-registration
• Submitting HMRC Pension Scheme Returns
• Customer Service : effective communication with clients / IFA`s / solicitors / accountants / HMRC / investment providers and other professional connections and colleagues
• Sound knowledge of existing pensions legislation as it applies to SSAS`s
