We are working with a leading university and they are looking to recruit an experienced HR Coordinator for a 12 month fixed contract ASAP.

The role is to start ASAP, so candidates must be wither immediately available, or on 1 weeks notice.

Working within the busy HR team, the role reports into the HR Manager and will be responsible for a broad range of HR activities, associated with the full employee life cycle. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
•First point of contact for any HR queries from staff- around 700 employees
•Dealing with all aspects of recruitment from start to finish - short-listing CV's, organising and participating in interviews, undertake all pre-employment checks and full fill the full on-boarding process
•Update and manage employee HR records
•Deal with starters, leavers and any changes to contracts, including exit interviews and manage all HR documentation
•Manage the HR process for temporary and hourly paid staff
•Provide HR admin support to the HR manager, involvement with HR projects and any other ad-hoc tasks within the team

For this role candidates must have proven experience working in a similar role at this level and ideally be studying towards CIPD.

Education sector experience would be advantageous, although not essential. The key requirement is good alround generalist HR experience.
