Working in partnership with a well-established firm based in West Yorkshire we are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner / Generalist to join the very successful HR Team based at the Head Office.
This is a newly created role offering full generalist HR remit across their 4 sites whilst also focusing on creating, implementing, and improving policies for the company, along with providing a high-quality HR service to c150 employees. The role would suit an experienced generalist or HRBP with a strong background within a fast-paced, commercial environment.
Your responsibilities in the role would be:
· Provide high level support to managers regarding disciplinary and capability issues; advise on appropriate action and procedure.
· Generate ideas for improvements to the employee experience, gaining stakeholder buy in from project management to implementation.
· Provide day to day advice to line managers on all HR issues: management of staff, remuneration, etc.
· Provide advice and support line managers and the business with employment law queries
· Working on other projects regarding new policies, structure etc to benefit the business
· Travel to the other offices to build relationships across all employees in the company
· Liaise directly with the partners so an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior level employees is required
The successful candidate should have:
· Proven experience in a generalist HR role
· Be CIPD qualified
· Strong working knowledge of employment law issues and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations would be an advantage
· The ability to perform under pressure and be able to prioritise your own workload whilst supporting your team
· Excellent attention to detail
In return you will receive a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on your experience, along with 25 days holiday + bank holidays, free on-site parking, 4% employer contribution pension, life assurance and access to Health Care Cash Plans and Season Ticket loans.
