We are recruiting for an experienced Paraplanner for our Clients in Kent, a successful Wealth Management company.

 

Duties:

·       To provide support services for all client sales made by the Directors, to ensure 100% compliance with the FCA regulations on the conduct of business and 100% compliance with the company's internal administrative requirements.  This will include 100% compliance with the company's system recording requirements, using Intelligent Office database system.  Experience with Intelliflo is therefore essential to the role.

·       To support the Directors in their advisory work with clients, including the collation of information, the obtaining of illustrations, the production of standard letters to clients and providers.  NB You will not be required to give advice in your job role but will be required to ensure that all customer needs are satisfied to the best of your ability.

 

·       You will provide:

 

 

 

Ø  Production of reports and quarterly product/fund research reports, working in conjunction with the Directors on a quarterly basis, as agreed within the review program, which will be your responsibility to arrange and ensure the deadlines are met, prioritising with Director as agreed.

 

Ø  An in-depth knowledge of the products and services that we offer and any regulatory or taxation rules which may affect the advice and to use continued professional development to keep this knowledge current and up to date.

 

Ø  A monthly task list to show the Directors the work in progress and its current status.

 

 

Ø  Submitting draft portfolio to Director within agreed timescale and diarising the return of the portfolio is delivered on time. Amending errors, if identified by Director and finally binding document, delivering within agreed timescale.

 

 

Ø  Excellent organisation, communication and numeracy skills both written and oral.  Ability to work accurately under pressure of tight deadlines.  Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure.  Willingness to accept responsibility and display initiative.

 

Ø  The diligence to read and review, as prescribed by the Directors any compliance documentation, i.e. Money laundering, Whistle Blowing, Data Protection etc. and must sign the firms Staff Declaration annually.

 

Ø  The diligence to keep up to date with any changes or if your become aware of any working practices which may need improving inform us, to help us to continue to fully embed TCF within our business model and cascade this to staff in the team and management alike.

 

Ø  Be adept at processing new and existing life and pension business including ISAs, Investment Bonds, OEICs, SIPPs and Trusts, entering all aspects of new business on Intelliflo, to include commission and also to ensure that where a transfer has taken place this is entered onto the Switch register.

 

 

 

Ø  Building client relationships to enhance the client’s belief and trust in the company and our aims as a business to treat all customers fairly, by ensuring that all queries and requests from clients are acted upon in a timely manner and attention to detail is upheld at all times, thereby reducing errors and omissions.   

 

Ø  Dealing with all client queries including valuations, policy information and transfers and client invoicing and chasing aged debtors.
