Salary – up to 40k basic (DOE)–  , Pension, Medical cover, Life Insurance

Our client is at the forefront of Commercial and Corporate Insurance broking with an office structure across the Midlands allowing National coverage providing the highest level of client service.

With a reputation of employing some of the most respected insurance professionals in the market they are now looking to add to their existing office an experienced Corporate Account Handler with excellent technical ability

Our client trades on an open market policy allowing access to all markets to provide the client base with the most competitive terms and cover available on the market. Assisting in the presentation of risks to underwriters and negotiation of terms.

Overview of Position

·         Working with Account Directors and New Business Development Teams

·         Liaising with Insurers and clients

·         Broking Risks to the market – New Business and Renewals, Mid term Adjustments and Daily handling

·         Cross selling other insurance products

Skills and Experience:

• Experience within the Insurance Industry with particular reference to commercial / corporate insurance.
• Experience in Transport/Fleet/logistics and Marine insurance is advantageous
• Excellent communication and administration skills.
• Ability to organise work flow, prioritising tasks as required, with minimum supervision.
• Strong report and letter writing skills using Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Previous sales experience would be beneficial.
• Ideally previous experience with Open GI or Acturis
• Cert CII qualified or progress towards desirable
