We are assisting an international fast-growing consultancy / services business and they are recruiting for a HR Manager to join the business. This role would be ideal for an experienced HR Advisor looking for the next step or an existing HR Manager.
 
The role will be mainly home working, with travel to the office 1-2 times per week (although the candidate can decide on this). So, candidates must be comfortable with a mainly home working role.
 
This is an exciting opportunity as the company has went through fantastic growth of 40% in the last 12 months, plus has exciting future growth plans. The role will work as part of a team of 4 and support c180 employees with all operational areas of HR (both the UK and international employees). Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Report into the Operations Manager and assist with the management of 2 people in HR, providing HR support to c180 employees (UK, Europe, US, Australia and Qatar)
-Be the point of contact for all operational HR areas, including Employee Relations, Employment Law, HR Best practice, support on recruitment, payroll, HR advice and guidance to managers, L&D and the support on the full employee life cycle.
-Support the business with the preparation and roll out of the People strategy and ensuring the HR function supports the business with growth and expansion.
-Provide support, advice and guidance to managers and directors on Employment law, HR best practice and guidance on areas such as Brexit and the impact on the business from a HR perspective.
-Give advice, guidance and coaching on all areas of ER, including grievances, disciplinaries, day to day issues and performance management.
-Review and implement where necessary current contracts, handbooks, HR policies and practices, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
-Support, and be the HR point of contact for restructuring, TUPE, redundancies and change management, including contract changes and TUPE in and out.
-Support the operations manager with some areas of recruitment when needed, including short-listing, interviewing and supporting with the offer process.
-Support on employee engagement, company culture, mental health and employee wellbeing policies and initiatives
-Lead on L&D and Training initiatives and ensure the business has an effective learning and develop program, including instigating new initiatives and ideas.
-Oversee payroll and collate information such as bonus, holidays, salary changes, starters and leavers, employee contract changes etc.
-Review the current HR system and make recommendations for new systems that meet the needs of the business.

For this role candidates will need to have proven experience at this level and ideally be CIPD Qualified. They are looking for an experienced HR professional who is looking for a role that they can take on more responsibility and make the role their own.
 
Candidates will need to hold strong operational HR experience and be confident with supporting the business on employment law, TUPE and restructuring. International experience would be advantageous.
 
The role will initially be working as the senior lead in the HR team, and once bedded into the role, would then take over management for the department, working closely with the Operations Manager on strategic areas of HR.
 
Ideally candidates will come from a services, consultancy, or food industry sector, although this is not essential and candidates from all sectors will be considered. Ultimately, they are looking for an experienced HR professional who is personable, confident and holds strong communication skills.
