Salary – up to 40k basic (DOE)– bonus, Pension, Medical cover, Life Insurance & Flexible working – Potential to progress to be an Account Executive

Our client is at the forefront of Commercial and Corporate Insurance broking with an office structure allowing National coverage providing the highest level of client service.

With a reputation of employing some of the most respected insurance professionals in the market they are now looking to add to their existing office an experienced commercial account handler

Our client trades on an open market policy allowing access to all markets to provide the client base with the most competitive terms and cover available on the market.

The role of Account Handler – General Insurance:

·         Build strong relationships with clients

·         Understand all of their general insurance needs across Commercial classes including combined, Fleet, Liability and Financial Lines 

·         Dealing with premiums of £500 – £500,000

·         Liaise with insurers to find the best deal for your client

·         Present the options back to your client and close the deal

·         Assist the Account Director with presentations and client visits

The Requirements of the Account Handler – General Insurance:

A strong background of General Insurance – a minimum of 2/3 years

·         CII Qualified desirable but not essential

·         Acturis Experience desirable but not essential
