Our client, a truly independent Financial Planners, based in Wokingham, specialises in the financial well-being of their clients. The team have over 20 years' experience in the Financial Planning industry, with some team members having worked their whole 50-year career in the wider finance industry. Being qualified Chartered Financial Planners and encouraging others to work towards that accolade are seeking a qualified Paraplanner or Paraplanner Manager to join the successful team.
Ideally you should be Chartered or happy working towards.
They specialise in pensions and family wealth planning. The mission is to give all client's financial security. They achieve this by offering high levels of service and giving situationally based advice that’s entirely focused upon individual needs and requirements.
This is facilitated by their close links with all the major pension providers including Transact, Legal & General, Aegon, Standard Life, Aviva and Prudential – to name a few.
Duties:
Prepare suitability reports in line with client objectives and as agreed with the adviser.
Either post or email the report to the clients (as directed by Adviser) and monitor the
response.
Ensure all relevant compliance paperwork has been obtained and stored in the appropriate
place.
Ensure that accurate and relevant paperwork and documentation is collated and ready for
adviser meetings.
Use online systems and portals for illustration generation, application processing etc. and
obtaining product literature where required.
Process client recommendations and proactively take action to chase information and
decisions from product providers on behalf of the client.
Carry out technical research as part of the client’s existing arrangement review process.
Maintain core systems ensuring that all tasks are carried out and completed in line with the
company policy and procedures.
Maintain awareness of, and act in accordance with, all Compliance and legislative
obligations.
Provide accurate support the Financial Advisers ensuring they are prepared for client
meetings, managing client expectations and demonstrate how our services meet their
personal and financial needs.
Candidates must be a minimum of level 4 but ideally Chartered.
We are also interested in Paraplanner Managers who can manage a team of Paraplanner and Administrators.
Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
