Key Responsibilities – Mortgage Administrator (Southend Office):

• Manage a personal pipeline of 20–25 active mortgage cases per month

• Provide comprehensive Mortgage Admin support to brokers from application to completion

• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and clients to chase outstanding documentation and updates

• Ensure that all mortgage applications are submitted accurately and in a timely manner

• Conduct thorough pre-submission file checks to maintain compliance with FCA regulations

• Deliver regular updates and maintain a high standard of client communication

• Keep records and databases up to date with full accuracy and attention to detail

 

 

Requirements – What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience as a Mortgage Administrator or within Mortgage Admin support is essential

• Excellent understanding of mortgage products, lending criteria, and regulatory procedures

• Ability to manage a busy pipeline and multiple priorities under pressure

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication

• Experience in the Essex or Southend mortgage market is desirable

• Proficient in mortgage CRM and tracking software (e.g., Twenty7Tec, IRESS, Mortgage Brain)

 

 

Package & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 depending on experience

• Bonus: Performance-related bonuses typically £4,000 – £5,000 annually
