Key Responsibilities

As a professional Mortgage Broker / Mortgage Advisor in Headington, Oxford, you will:

• Conduct detailed client consultations, assessing financial circumstances, goals, and affordability.

• Advise on the full range of whole-of-market mortgage products, tailoring solutions to individual client needs.

• Clearly explain complex mortgage and protection options in simple, client-friendly language.

• Manage the mortgage application process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service.

• Liaise with lenders, underwriters, and solicitors to progress cases efficiently.

• Proactively offer protection advice, ensuring clients have the right cover in place alongside their mortgage.

• Work closely with estate agency introducers, maximising every opportunity to deliver client-focused advice and drive high earnings.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an ambitious Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker with:

• A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in mortgage advice or broking.

• Whole-of-market knowledge and the ability to recommend suitable mortgage solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative and professional approach.

• The ability to explain financial information in a clear, concise manner.

• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

• A driven, motivated, and self-starting personality with the ambition to achieve high earnings.

• Proficiency in using mortgage sourcing software and CRM systems.

• CeMAP or equivalent qualification (CeMAP 1,2,3 or CF6).
