Role Overview – Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker (Havering)

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a CeMAP-qualified Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and is looking for a long-term career with excellent high earnings prospects.

As part of this leading East London and Essex mortgage operation, you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality mortgage and protection advice to a diverse client base throughout the full mortgage journey.

• Handle mortgage applications up to £700k, with an average loan size of £320k.

• Receive a consistent flow of new business leads, averaging 8–10 mortgage appointments per week, generated from three high-performing Havering estate agency branches.

• Deliver excellent conversion levels with a realistic expectation to write 15–17 mortgages per month.

• Work with an extensive existing client database to maximise opportunities, cross-sell protection products, and offer remortgage solutions.

• Build strong relationships with branch teams, valuers, and sales negotiators to sustain a high level of warm introductions.

• Provide remortgage and refinancing advice to loyal repeat clients looking to optimise their financial position.

What You’ll Bring

• Full CeMAP qualification – essential.

• A solid understanding of residential mortgages, buy-to-let, remortgages, protection products, and compliance procedures.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and gain client trust.
