Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Trainee Mortgage Broker based in Aylesbury, you will:

• Learn the full mortgage and protection process, including products, systems, industry regulations and FCA compliance.

• Advise clients referred from the estate agency team, providing tailored mortgage recommendations.

• Conduct detailed fact-finds to assess clients’ financial goals and suitability.

• Research appropriate products using a comprehensive lender panel.

• Guide clients through the entire mortgage journey—from first appointment to mortgage completion.

• Prepare, submit and track mortgage applications.

• Liaise professionally with lenders, solicitors and estate agents to ensure smooth progression.

• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout their mortgage process.

• Attend ongoing training, coaching and development workshops.

• Achieve performance and service targets within a fast-paced environment.

• Manage a blend of heavy footfall and HNW clients, including properties up to £1.3m.

Key Requirements

To succeed as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor in Aylesbury, you will need:

• CeMAP 1 qualification (minimum requirement).
