⭐ Key Responsibilities – Mortgage Manager / Mortgage Team Leader

As a Mortgage Manager / Mortgage Team Leader based in Medway City Estate, your duties will include:

Leadership & Coaching

• Leading a team of Mortgage Advisors, Protection Advisors and Lead Generators

• Conducting one-to-one coaching sessions, delivering observations and structured feedback

• Supporting team members through the mortgage sales process to achieve high earnings and consistent results

• Upskilling advisors in sales, compliance, product knowledge and soft skills

• Helping new advisors progress towards Competent Adviser Status (CAS)

Performance & Sales Management

• Driving a culture of excellence, motivation and responsibility

• Supporting advisors to achieve personal and team high earnings targets

• Improving performance through coaching, mentoring and hands-on support

• Conducting business reviews, forecasting performance and setting achievable goals

• Working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities and maximise growth

Operational Responsibilities

• Ensuring the team delivers whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice

• Managing workflow, pipeline, and workload distribution to maximise productivity

• Ensuring FCA compliance, maintaining documentation and supporting best practice

• Building strong relationships with internal teams, introducers and estate agency colleagues

⭐ Experience & Requirements

To succeed in this Mortgage Manager / Mortgage Team Leader role in Medway City Estate, you will ideally have:

• CeMAP 1 (minimum) – full CeMAP or CAS preferred

• Previous experience as a Mortgage Manager, Mortgage Team Leader, Mortgage Sales Manager, or senior mortgage advisor

• Proven mortgage advisory and sales background with strong performance

• Experience coaching, supervising or supporting mortgage brokers

• A passion for developing others and driving high earnings

• Strong leadership, communication, motivation and problem-solving skills

• A proactive, organised, customer-focused approach

Candidates with strong mortgage advisory backgrounds wishing to progress into leadership will also be considered.
