Cameron James Professional Recruitment is delighted to present a unique opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Advisor to join a highly successful, whole-of-market brokerage partnered with a major national new build developer across Yorkshire. Covering thriving areas such as Leeds, Sheffield, York, Hull, Bradford, Harrogate, Wakefield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Middlesbrough, this role offers outstanding high earnings, pre-qualified leads, and complete diary management flexibility.

This New Build Mortgage Advisor position offers a remarkable level of support—not only are all leads provided, but many buyers have already completed their initial fact-find and, in some cases, the DIP (Decision in Principle) is already done. Advisors typically receive 6 pre-qualified appointments per week, achieving 4–5 mortgage signups weekly, with excellent cross-sell opportunities for protection products including Life Assurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection, Family Income Benefit and Buildings Insurance.

Current New Build Mortgage Brokers within the group achieve average earnings of £50,000, while the top performers consistently exceed £75,000, demonstrating the genuine high earnings potential available in the Yorkshire region.

Main Responsibilities – New Build Mortgage Broker / Mortgage Advisor (Yorkshire)

Working from home while covering new build sites throughout the Yorkshire region, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice to new build buyers across key Yorkshire locations (Leeds, Sheffield, York, Hull, Bradford, Wakefield, Harrogate, Doncaster, Rotherham).

• Receiving fully pre-qualified leads with fact-finds completed by a dedicated telesales team (95% conversion rate).

• Conducting appointments via phone, video or face-to-face depending on customer needs.

• Reviewing completed fact-finds to confirm accuracy and suitability.

• Recommending appropriate whole-of-market mortgage solutions and ensuring protection opportunities are fully explored.

• Cross-selling Life, Life & Critical Illness, Income Protection and ASU products.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new build sales teams to ensure ongoing referral quality.

• Managing your own diary, working Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, with some evening appointments and one weekend per quarter for site launches or development events.

This role is ideal for an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker who wants structure, high-quality leads, and a realistic high earnings pathway—all while enjoying the flexibility to work from home.

Key Skills & Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be fully CeMAP qualified or hold CF1 & CF6 or MAQ.

• Be an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker with a strong track record in mortgage and protection sales.

• Hold Competent Adviser Status (CAS).

• Possess excellent product knowledge, communication skills, and attention to detail.

• Be able to work independently, professionally, and compliantly while managing a busy diary.

• Live within or near the Yorkshire region.

Mortgage Advisors working in busy markets such as Leeds, Sheffield, York or Hull will benefit from extremely strong buyer demand and therefore excellent high earnings capability.
