Commercial Insurance Claims Advisor – Stoke On Trent
Base Salary to 40-45k k DOE, Flex Benefits, Hybrid Working 
 
Our Client is a Leading National Broker who is looking for an Experience Commercial Claims Handler to Join its Team
As a Claims Advisor, you'll play a vital role in delivering excellent claims service to our clients customers. You'll manage all allocated claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Claim Management: You'll be responsible for a designated caseload, handling claims from start to finish. This involves extensive liaison with clients, insurers, claimants, policyholders, brokers, and other experts.
Referrals: Escalate claims that exceed your personal authority levels to your line manager.
Information Gathering: Collect and process information as needed to support the assessment of more complex cases.
Training and Development: Assist in training new or less experienced staff on company systems and processes. Maintain and enhance your own professional knowledge and skills through continuous professional development and ongoing desk training, ensuring all development is recorded in line with training and competency requirements.
Customer Service: Conduct all company business in a courteous and efficient manner.
Compliance & Ethics: At times, you will act on behalf of both the insured and the insurer. You are responsible for adhering to all group procedures and policies related to identifying and managing potential conflicts of interest, ensuring the fair treatment of customers, and following established systems and controls.
Additional Tasks: Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the company. 
Experience Required 
General Insurance principles and practice
Class of risk, product, and market knowledge
General Insurance regulation and business ethics
Customer care experience
IT proficient
Numeracy and Literacy
