Key Responsibilities – Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker

As a successful Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker, your responsibilities will include:

🏡 Client Consultation & Mortgage Advice

• Conducting in-depth client consultations to fully understand financial goals, affordability, and borrowing requirements

• Providing tailored whole-of-market mortgage advice for first-time buyers, movers, remortgages, buy-to-let and new build clients

• Delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the mortgage journey

💼 Mortgage & Protection Sales

• Advising and selling a full range of mortgage and protection products

• Cross-selling life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection

• Maximising average case sizes and overall client value

📈 Lead Management & Conversion

• Receiving 7–10 new mortgage leads per week from financially focused estate agency introducers

• Converting leads into 3–4 completed mortgages per week

• Managing pipeline efficiently to maximise banking and completions

⚖️ Compliance & FCA Regulation

• Operating fully within FCA guidelines and regulatory frameworks

• Maintaining meticulous records, suitability reports and compliance standards

🤝 Relationship Building

• Building strong relationships with estate agency colleagues, lenders and protection providers

• Creating repeat business and long-term client loyalty

Earnings Potential – High Earnings of Over £90,000

This Cardiff branch offers one of the strongest earning platforms in South Wales:

• Ability to bank over £220,000 per annum in broker fees, proc fees and life bankings

• Commission splits ranging from 10% to 25%, plus bonuses on threshold targets

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
