Advisors will also regularly deal with higher-value transactions, with properties reaching up to £900,000, supporting larger loan sizes, stronger procuration fees and sustainable high earnings.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker based in Chatham, your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving 10–12 high-quality mortgage leads per week from the in-branch estate agency team and partner introducers

• Providing whole-of-market mortgage advice tailored to individual client circumstances

• Writing and managing 2–3 quality mortgage cases per week, with average case values around £2,500

• Advising on protection products including life insurance, critical illness and income protection

• Maximising opportunities from a large existing client base, including remortgage and referral business

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of lender criteria, rates and FCA compliance requirements

• Managing cases on properties ranging from standard residential to high-value homes up to £900k, ensuring consistent pipeline flow and high earnings

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker position in Chatham, you will need:

• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) – essential

• A minimum of 12 months’ experience providing regulated mortgage advice

• Proven whole-of-market mortgage and protection knowledge

• Strong communication, rapport-building and consultative sales skills

• Clean credit and compliance history

• Full UK driving licence

• Estate-agency experience advantageous, though candidates from banking or building-society backgrounds are encouraged to apply
