Due to continued growth and a consistently high volume of mortgage completions, our client is now seeking an experienced Protection Broker to join their team in Gateshead, offering outstanding high earnings potential.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven Protection Advisor to work alongside a highly successful mortgage broker team, receiving a steady flow of 15–20 qualified protection leads per week, all generated directly from completed and ongoing mortgage cases.

Overview – Protection Broker / Protection Advisor

The successful Protection Broker will work closely with the mortgage advisor team, providing whole-of-market protection advice to clients across the UK. As a Protection Advisor, you will deliver regulated, compliant, and client-focused advice covering all core protection products, supported by a strong panel of leading life insurance providers.

Our client operates a clear and professional model where advisors are licensed specifically for either mortgage advice or protection advice, ensuring you can focus solely on delivering high-quality protection solutions and achieving high earnings without distraction.

Based in the Gateshead office, this Protection Advisor role offers a structured, professional environment with full administrative support, allowing you to focus entirely on client advice and business conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a dedicated Protection Broker supporting the mortgage broker team

• Provide regulated protection advice as a Protection Advisor on:

o Level Term Assurance

o Decreasing Term Assurance

o Mortgage Payment Protection

o Critical Illness Cover

o Family Income Protection

o General Insurance

• Contact and engage 15–20 hot protection leads per week in a timely and professional manner

• Deliver empathetic, client-focused consultations to customers nationwide

• Assess client needs and recommend suitable protection solutions in line with FCA regulations

• Build strong relationships with clients to maximise conversion and retention

• Submit fully completed applications, with all administration handled by the in-house admin team

• Work collaboratively with Mortgage Advisors to maximise cross-sale opportunities

• Consistently achieve and exceed targets, unlocking genuine high earnings potential

Earnings & Commission Structure

This Protection Broker role offers outstanding high earnings, with realistic OTE of £65,000–£70,000, based purely on lead volume already being generated.

• Proven experience working as a Protection Advisor or Protection Broker
