We are seeking a motivated Account Handler to join our clients team in Gloucester. This is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing business where you can expect dedicated training, professional development, and a clear career path within the insurance industry.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will primarily focus on our clients SME/Commercial Book of Business, ensuring their clients receive industry-leading service and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Excellence: Deliver high-quality, professional service to a dedicated portfolio of clients.
- Policy Administration: Manage the end-to-end administration of insurance policies, including renewals and mid-term adjustments.
- Correspondence: Handle all incoming enquiries via phone and shared mailboxes, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Client Retention: Provide proactive day-to-day support to meet client requirements and maintain long-term relationships.
- Compliance: Adhere to company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Data Integrity: Ensure all communications and actions are accurately recorded within client records.
About You
You are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for customer service and a drive to grow your career in insurance. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar client-facing role, ideally within Commercial Insurance.
- Communication: An excellent telephone manner and the ability to build strong working relationships easily.
- Technical Skills: Ideally, experience using Acturis systems, though training will be provided.
- Organisation: The ability to multi-task, manage admin efficiently, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Ambition: A genuine desire to learn and progress within the insurance sector.
