Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Trainee Mortgage Broker, you will receive structured training and development across all areas of the mortgage and protection process. Duties will include:

• Contacting existing clients to provide illustrations and advice on buildings and contents insurance

• Contacting recent mortgage clients to discuss and arrange life assurance and protection reviews

• Working closely with estate agency introducers in Leeds to qualify warm leads

• Booking and referring qualified appointments to the in-house mortgage advisor team

• Supporting the administration of mortgage and protection cases from application to completion

• Learning full mortgage processes and compliance requirements

• Developing fact-finding, questioning, and sales skills

• Identifying opportunities to generate additional business from new and existing clients

• Working closely with and receiving full support from an experienced mortgage sales manager who consistently on hand to support you as a trainee mortgage broker

You may initially start within a mortgage administration or lead qualification capacity to fully understand the end-to-end mortgage journey before progressing into a fully fledged Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Trainee Mortgage Broker role.
