Our client, due to continued growth is seeking to appoint a Bookkeeper to its existing team

 

Core duties for Bookkeeper:

 

-balancing and maintaining accurate ledgers

-matching purchase orders to invoices

-monitoring expenses and tallying cash receipts

-paying vendor invoices

-monitor bank account balances

-prepare financial statements

-oversee profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheets

-assist with payroll

-pre-payments and accruals

-set up supplier and customer accounts

-deal with customer queries

-provide support on client premises visits

 

Experience needed for the Bookkeeper:

 

-strong working knowledge of both Sage and Excel

-attention to detail

-excellent communication skills

-ideally AAT qualified or part qualified, or bookkeeping equivalent (also happy to consider QBE)

-flexible approach to work

-minimum of 3 years previous bookkeeping experience within practice
